July 3, 2017Over 900 visitors attended the event last year
Celebrating its 10th year and following the success of ‘Guildford Means Business’ in 2016, this year’s event has been renamed the ‘Surrey Business Expo’ to reflect the wide diversity and reach of both exhibitors and visitors. Over 900 local business owners, managers and stakeholders attended the show last year and organisers are predicting a sizeable attendance today, with pre-registration figures at their highest.
Over 100 companies from across the county will be exhibiting at the show and Halcyon Offices will have representatives at Stand 143, joining this celebration of Surrey’s business community. This year, the show also includes ‘Meet the Surrey Venues’ in the main hall, dedicated to the wealth of hosting venues available across the region.
The day includes a full programme of speed networking and a wide variety of free seminars, from ‘How to Open Doors and create more opportunities’ to ‘Speaking in public – it’s all about confidence!’

“It is our first time exhibiting at the Surrey Business Expo and what a fabulous atmosphere! There are some truly inspiring seminars taking place and I am thrilled to meet so many diverse businesses all under one roof.
I hope by exhibiting we raise awareness of the Halcyon Offices brand in Surrey and help many more companies find the perfect location for their business, whether this is through our Serviced or Virtual Offices, the ad hoc use of our meeting rooms or by simply enjoying our Business Lounge with free-WiFi for business users.
We feel very proud to be part of the vibrant Surrey business community.”
Halcyon Offices operate serviced and virtual offices out of Leatherhead, Surrey. Our buildings include the historic former town hall, Wesley House and the stately home Thorncroft Manor which is said to have inspired Jane Austen’s Emma. Thorncroft Manor also houses our WiFi Lounge, an informal setting offering barista coffee and free-WiFi for business users, alongside a variety of meeting rooms which are available to hire. The original Debating Chamber at Wesley House also offers businesses a unique venue for hosting a larger meeting or seminar.
